FWIW, my vet was here last week and I asked about the blistering. I didn't have you exact diagnosis handy to read to him, but I asked if he ever used blistering for a fracture. The answer was 'never'. As I thought, he only used blistering for stifles. Do you know why your vet used blistering?

Walter Zettl often spoke about the fact that the horses would go straight on, hack out, work in walk and trot for a year. If they cantered they were allowed, but it was not WTC in the first month ( and not on the lunge )..... Just snipped what I wanted to address, but I agreed with all of that post...

Rosie, maybe some of the members that use hoof boots could tell you if that might work temporarily if his soles are sore. I have a Cavallo boot that I put on when my horse loses a shoe.
