I have owned the 28-105 2.8 and 24-70 2.8 Tamron and I'll never own another Tamron product, both were very soft at the wide angle end and slow to focus. I'm not a fan of the 70-200 Tamron, either. Their products just don't handle low light or action well, IME. I buy Sigma lenses, though!

OMG you guys, the D5 is the most amazing camera I've ever held. It puts both the D750 and D500 to shame in speed and snappiness and sharpness. The ISO is out of this world.

I'm in love. And, I'll post a few pictures from it after I edit!

Black Rapid is the brand name of sling straps. They screw into the tripod mount. I use a different brand harness, but have black rapid screws that hook to my harness. My D750 is great, but it's not the heavy, sturdy steel pro body the D700 was. Looks like both are totaled, so I guess it'll be a new D750 and a new something I can't decide on at this point.

We're mid wedding season and crazy busy. But, word of warning to those that use black rapid straps or the black rapid screws. Loctite them in and replace them annually. Both my primary bodies appear to be totaled from a screw failure. I'm trying to figure out what would replace my beloved d700 right...

One of the fun tractor like trikes? A cowboy outfit? Do the parents have any suggestions? We're strictly Montessori at home with wooden toys and toys that require imagination, so the parents might have ideas for what they'd like.

I entered 50 images in shoot and share. Last year I placed 43rd in the wedding couple catagory, who knows this year!

I wish I could get this Brenzier to load from Christmas eve, it's too big but it's freaking amazing!

The top one the crop is awkward at her arm and I don't like the hair covering her eye. The bottom one rocks. They look a bit cool and overexposed on my calibrated screens. No wedding colors! If you wanted to you could rent something from Rent the Runway or have a custom made from Eshakati, both would run you under $100 and I dearly love my Eshakati dresses. I lost my special cat last year to lung cancer and I was curled up on the floor of the vets office after we put her to sleep. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. I'm so sorry about Hope, it's tough to lose them so quickly and after such a short time together.

I haven't been around much this fall - it's the busiest we've ever been, throw in a baby, an auto immune flare, a case of pneumonia (me), the flu (hubby), tummy surgery (baby), a car accident, and that's where we are.

I think auto exposure should still work. I can use auto exposure on 70's era manual lenses, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Austin is great, he's sleeping in his wrap on my chest. I just got home from a wedding, so it's nice to have some baby cuddles before bed!
