Insane. I do not believe for a minute that a turkey can be an "emotional therapy" animal. And if this is true, the person should not be flying if they have to bring their bird with. Take a few Valium. I just hate to see the legitimacy of therapy animals minimalized by this nonsense.

RIP Alan Rickman

Actor Alan Rickman, best known for his role as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter movies, died at age 69 from cancer. He was such a versatile actor, playing everything from Shakespeare to Hans Gruber in Die Hard.

I just got over David Bowie, now this. Truly saddened by this loss.

Did my sock drawer this morning. What a bunch of junk! Now it looks so tidy with socks in bins according to color and use.

I read that H&M stores accept worn out clothes for recycling as do Salvation Army and Goodwill. So even if your clothes are too worn out to be resold, donate them anyway.

IMHO toll roads and turnpikes are different. You pay every x number of miles on a toll road. You collect a ticket when you enter a turnpike and pay a lump sum when you get off. In Illinois we have toll roads. You can pay cash (at manned booths) or use a transponder. If you have no money and you hit ...
