That article is a confusing mess. One obviously very unhealthy white male in Montana, a few stabs at drug addiction rates, broad brush-stroke claims about the economy, some references to health care costs. Sometimes I fear that all the editors have been fired, all over the world.

My ex-DH and I did a Celebrity cruise, 7 days out of Fort Lauderdale. I love the ocean, and like being on ships. The nights were gorgeous with the moon glimmering on the giant wake. This was a huge ship and we felt no motion at all even on the rougher days. We splurged on a cabin with a deck and tha...

Yukon Gold potatoes with sea salt and vinegar.

Long ago on UDBB, Silverbridge recommended putting vinegar on boiled potatoes while they are still warm so that they absorb it. It is fabulous! I could eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner, with a side of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers.

I really appreciate it when food is served in smaller pieces - like half a baked potato, small pieces of steak etc. When you get served a giant portion and can't eat it all, that's awkward.

So my vote is go ahead and cut them in half.
