Welcome back!
I assume you've been tested for various autoimmune diseases - If not, well I have lupus and your description of the haze of pain and fatigue is very familiar.

Jeffersonia is an ephemeral for me (disappears by July, comes back in the spring). I grow a ton of native spring ephemerals, but they are way out back where I dont have to watch them die as spring turns to summer. Will cyclamen withstand the amount of afternoon sun you have? Ditto European ginger? B...

It generally takes perennials some time to settle in.
I was always told: the first year they sleep, the second year they creep, the third year they leap.
So what you already have may look much nicer this year.
I do love hellebores, but for me they are very slow growing.

Surely I am not the only one on this board who re-reads P & P and S & S yearly... I've fallen off a bit - I only reread every two or three years now. There are few books of an era that I cannot stand to read. However MOVIES from the 1950s and early 60s are just unbearable to me. Ditzy heroi...

We lived in our first tiny house for 12 years, and I was eager to move to our current place. We've been here for 28 years and I would love to spend the rest of my life here. However, my only child lives in Oregon and is expecting her first child and constantly begs me to move out there. We probably ...

I think it's more than just name recognition. (Ben WHO?)
The Republicans and Libertarians have carefully built a hatred of government over the past few decades. and OOPS they suddenly have to deal with candidates who exploit this and fan the flames of sweet, sweet, addictive outrage.

In an odd sort of way, Trump is aiming at voters who don't like the big money, since he says he has so much big money of his own (huge! huge!) that he doesn't need to take any of that money.
