Re: Venting: About my neighbor

Some days you wake up and just know. It's great that it happened to the two of you at the same time too! Best of luck with your big move and life changes

Re: "What's for dinner?"

I'm going to try my hand at Swedish meatballs today. There's lots of fresh parsley, basil and tomatoes in the garden, so caprese salad is also on the menu--again lol.

Re: What's good in your world?

Lovely thread, and wonderful things happening to everyone--it's refreshing as heck! I've landed softly, and am very happily living with an old friend from udbb days. My cats are spoiled rotten and loving their lives here too,and last month i bought a pony. She is a 6yo 13.3 gypsy mare, sweet as can ...

Re: "What's for dinner?"

It's August, so naturally i took out the frozen hunk of corned beef which has been taunting me from the freezer. Any ideas for an updated August version of slow cooker corned beef?

Re: "What's for dinner?"

Yesterday I was all alone for the first time in a few months, so I ate a steak while watching Designated Survivor in my jammies. It was wonderful!

Re: Please tell me it can stop

Just as in "When a Stranger Calls' the real danger is already IN the house---old white guys afraid of losing their power (imho of course).

Re: Do MC and I really have different gripes with Trump?

However, I don't discuss politics on the internet. I only discuss political things with friends that I know share my views. With all due respect, then how will you ever learn about or have an opportunity to ponder others' points of view? If you all talk and agree with one another, how can there be d...

Re: Tell us about YOU.

I'm here too, and finally beginning to see glimmers of the 'old me' after a long and challenging few years. Nothing is the same in my life. My Tundra was the last vestige of the old days, and she passed this summer. I sadly learned similar lessons to Ang's and lost my barn community as well. So what...
