Linden - just wanted to say I started copying your warmup and it works GREAT for Bliss!! Thanks for sharing. I think the lateral work at walk and the leg yeild at canter are so much more effective at warming and loosening than what I had been doing. that's great! IMHO lateral work is what separates...

awesome! band is great - I was a (quite accomplished) Trumpet player in my teens and was a first chair member of the BC Honor band.

I was also in a Bagpipe band for 6 years as a snare drummer (I was in Army Cadets).

My trainer does not include canterining in the warmup. When asked why not, I was told because the trot is the suppling gait. Instead of cold hosing, dunk a baby diaper fully in cold water, (or multiple diapers) and put them in the freezer until they're good and frozen. then hold them against her swollen bits. it wastes less water, isn't as messy, won't attract bees, and wont soak her hooves.
