Re: So depressing (warning, graphic horse injury photos)
I feel your pain Amado. My competition horse sliced his heel open in early July. He was never lame on it but boy did it look ugly. With his injury it was stitches, stall rest, some pretty nasty vet bills, a mysterious swollen tendon, and a wasted summer, but we're finally getting back to work! I wis...

Re: Need suggestions for old mare
I'll try taking the tail flap off. And in reply to myleetlepony, she's more inclined to just move her tail to the side rather than lift it up regardless of whether she has the blanket on or off. I wonder if she just has weak tail muscles now and what does one do for that?

Need suggestions for old mare
Hi guys. I have a 35 year old Saddlebred cross mare that is having difficulty with her tail of all things. It seems like she's not able to lift her tail sufficiently with her winter blanket on to poop properly. As a result the underside of her blanket tail guard and her right leg only are getting co...

Re: Besides WB - what do you ride
I have a NSH! As some of you may recall from UDBB I got him sort of by accident, but I'm having a ton of fun with him. After injuries kept us out of the show ring for almost the whole summer we did manage to make it to the last show of the season, which just happened to be running concurrently with ...

Re: Still two more months til vacation and THIS!
My husband and I went to the airport at St. Maarten last year while we were on a cruise. We had a fabulous time, had lunch at the restaurant there (which was fine), and got to see some huge planes landing. You can check the landing schedule ahead of time if you're interested in seeing the big planes...
