Goat People...invalid food suggestions

Sooooooo..... Scrunchy fell down the stairs and dislocated her shoulder. So all this week I've been running back and forth to the vet and then UCDavis with a broken goat. Thank dog she's only 34 pounds and fits in the back of the MINI. Anyway, the team at Davis was able to reduce the dislocat...

Oh and it seems like my second home is going to be the Coastal Range of Oregon. I really love the feel there. It just feels good, like a hug. We just bought land along a creek there and will eventually be rehabbing the cabin for our "retirement" home. BTW, Sunshine, thanks for adding an av...

RTR, I would crop the photo because, IMO, it needs to be tighter anyway to emphasis the little girl and the texture of the mane. Problem solved by omission ;) ETA, though sometimes with flares, I actually bring them out and just roll with it. https://fuzzywunkle.smugmug.com/photos/i-p8qcvsM/1/M/i-p8...

I have a 24-105 that I bring for those in-between situations. Since I have two bodies, I throw that on the second body and then I don't have to worry about if I have the right lens. It's also a good range if you can only do one lens and you have a crop-frame camera. The drawback, of course, is it on...

That picture from Tony is a mixture of in camera and post. He definitely manipulates the lights and darks to bring out existing textures and bring focus to the subect. I'm fairly confident the wall is the actual background.

RTR, 1/2 stop under at most. I would more like to see better detail in your shadows and better contrast in your midtones. Your whites are not blown out, and your blacks aren't blocky, but it's just kinda not *quite* there.

Razzie. It's close enough to Rosie that she'll think you just have an accent. When my mare came into the barn she had the name Clownie, which is awkward and everyone hated. So we went with Chloe because it was close...so all these years she has probably assumed I have a speech impediment.

I always do an exercise with them (before they start bucking, so they can learn what's expected first). Here's my suggestion...YMMV. Pick up one rein and bring the head to the side. Apply steady pressure until the horse takes two big steps to the side with his hind end...and doesn't cross his legs. ...

Most photographers I know re-size to accommodate Facebook, which is where a lot of picture sharing goes on. There are two basic image sizes for FB, 960 or 2048px on the long side of the photograph at a resolution of 72ppi. Most people are happy with the 960 because they can all be fit into one email...
