Re: March (and April) of Progress

Nice, Flight!! Contact is something I’m learning on Besa. It’s very different that what I’ve always thought and only in the last 2+ months, since I’ve been working at home, have I been able to start to figure it out…I think…I have been videoing again all week so I will make some clips to post in the...

Re: March (and April) of Progress

Ive videoed the last two days and I feel like Im getting into gear. I had forgotten how helpful videoing was for me because I couldn’t do it while at the trainers barn because there were always too many horses in the arena and Pivo doesnt differentiate. So: 1.) video a couple of times a week 2.) rid...

Chickens

When DH was in the hospital for his stroke, I didnt have time to coop up my chickens at night so I let them free range 24/7. I ended up losing 3 of the 4 to foxes or coons. I moved the lone hen, Yoko Ono, to the main barn so she wouldn’t be so isolated out in the pasture barn but still, I think she ...

I’m not doing dressage the way I’d like due to weather and aging parent care. Still, I am enjoying Besa. Every time I get on her she seems to be trying to understand what I want. She is a blessing. I took Besa for a lesson on Friday. I was wondering how it would go because I have been riding her on a longer rein than when I was in full time training.
