Tanga, so long as i sleep for about two hours or 3 hours, i do well. When i finally sleep for 8 i wake up tired, grumpy and cranky.

I might regret saying this, but i love the swelter. I hobestbto goodness just have to many horses to ride. 3 now in full training, 3 in 3x a week, and 4 of my own. i am up to 8 horses a day, and occasionally 9. Monday i do the barn solo, but fortunately on all the other days is the week i have help....

I have discovered, and I hope this helps, I need to sit tall, not back. Sitting tall allows my seat to move with the jump of the stride, sitting back stops the seat from swinging and is like hitting the brake.

I agree with your post Chisamba. To address your earlier mention of working eq - yes for sure some people do it badly too! I struggle a bit ethically with riding my horses at times. Maybe partly because I'm not 100% sure I'm doing it right. Kelo, he looks and sounds like he's becoming a nice horse....
