Flight - that canter looks great to me! Very active and adjustable!

Canter work like that is pretty much all I am doing with Bliss these days. It's fun that he's developing more strength and adjustability.

Linden - we’re at that point now where I can ask for different gears in some of the laterals. We can get medium trot in LY and also in SI. Travers we’re not there yet, and HP isn’t there yet either, but that’s absolutely what we’re working toward. It’s a great feeling. :)

Linden - just wanted to say I started copying your warmup and it works GREAT for Bliss!! Thanks for sharing. I think the lateral work at walk and the leg yeild at canter are so much more effective at warming and loosening than what I had been doing.

We had a very good lesson yesterday. This was our 8th lesson with this trainer, averaging one lesson about every three weeks. I'm thrilled with how it's all working out. :) We also tried a change in each direction and got honest attempts both ways! With big leaps of course but still, he did it. Best...

The best horse dream I ever had (and the only one I remember vividly) is I got the opportunity to ride a friend's FEI horse who I had never ridden before, and we went across the diagonal and did a perfect line of one tempis (which I have never ridden), so it was an awesome dream overall.
