Re: flying change plan

Tanga, her leg is sliding back because her bum is sliding off to the outside. Get her to bring her outside seatbone close to the middle of the saddle. If she collapses her upper body more trying to do this, get her to think about pushing her thumb into her hip socket and pushing her hips over so her...

Re: flying change plan

Last year I had some lessons with a guy from Portugal. It might have been the language thing (although his English was very good) but he had really simple aids and positioning for teaching and fixing flying changes. It did help that he was a very good rider and very solid in his position! For exampl...

I'm not sure on trailers, i have a basic one and throw a camp bed down when I stay over at comps. But I'm very primitive :) I will say, you only live once! So go for it. I'm a B camp. And patience, just keep chipping away. It took my horses (and me!!) a while to figure out where legs are supposed to go for flying changes. I dont think you wait for perfect. You try stuff, see where it fails then work away at that. I also had to stop thinking that first goes (and 2nds...

I agree with your post Chisamba. To address your earlier mention of working eq - yes for sure some people do it badly too! I struggle a bit ethically with riding my horses at times.
