I have two issues with rolled bridles - the ones I have seen have buckles at the poll and they are not that adjustable. The other is that I have seen horses get sore at the poll where the buckles go.

One of my guys has a chronic eye issue and he pretty much lives in his fly mask year round. About the only time he goes without is in the winter, when there is absolutely no wind. I even ride him in a fly mask on windy days.
