My colleague just got out of the hospital yesterday with COVID pneumonia. She is only 38 and has a host of health concerns. Hopefully she recovers fully but she is definitely very vulnerable.

I have had several horses pass and have never taken the tail hair. It makes me too sad to think of it. However, I will say that there have been instances where I found tail hairs in a tree or whatever after the fact and have taken them as a memento.
