Just opened this thread. Boy, this hits home, we are starting down this path with my parents - both are seriously spiraling - they live on opposite coasts, (divorced and remarried to younger spouses) and both have dementia - Dad’s been diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia, and mom is super stubbor...

Perhaps you missed it, but I wrote in the first post that the neighbor has the right to use the driveway to get into her pasture. It's in the deed, survey or whatever document. Looks great. I had really good luck using Manuka Honey on Rico’s terrible heel bulb laceration a couple of years ago. It’s used for non-healing bed sores. It’s got something extra in it, specific to the plant the honey comes from that helps with wound healing.

There are acrylic type paints specifically for painting on leather. I would think you could cover them with that. This one says it won’t crack or peel. If you are good with a small paintbrush, you could absolutely make this work. https://www.amazon.com/Angelus-Leather-Paint-Flat-White/dp/B01H0P3LP8/...

Most important question, what Is he wearing when you lunge him? If he is able to turn away from you, then take off and get away from you, it’s not the right equipment. You need something with enough bite to stop him in his tracks when he gets out of control. That might be a rope halter with knots. I...
