Re: Any Schleese Obrigado Owners here?

Thanks Ponichiwa - I have been watching Ebay and have seen a few with nice pricing. There was one I really liked as it had a shorter flap, she still wanted $5,500 and would not do a trail. That's too big of a risk for me. I would also need to schedule a fitter to make sure what ever I try that it is...

Thanks for the replies- I'm really hoping to find one locally that I can try out. One of you thinks it doesn't sit small and one of you thinks it does! Any Schleese Obrigado Owners here?

I haven't been able to find a used one locally nor is there a Schleese fitter close by and I'd like to give one a try. My mare doesn't have an unusually short back - but, since they are made more for the baroque breds, I thought I'd give one a try for my PRE. My 2 other saddles (Wintec Isabel and F....

I will soon be looking for a new saddle too. Finding an excellent fitter that isn't brand specific may be difficult for me.

I have been eyeing the DP saddles, as well as, the Schleese Obrigado.

True - you do not need stock to make to make stock - BIMHO you need it to make soup.

KathyK - I think my sister picked some of the chicken off the rotisserie bird and added to her soup - but, didn't strip it naked. LOL.....

YEs, keep us posted on how it came out and how long you had to cook it.

YEs, you need chicken stock - todays chickens don't have the fat/flavor you need for a good soup! My sister recently made wedding soup using a store bought rotisserie chicken. If you get the surgery now, you will be pretty much healed by the time spring riding comes around. Try to half or full lease her - if all goes well with the surgery you'll be kicking yourself if you sell her. Won't you be lonely for a horse and all the joy it brings if you get out of it?
