So my sister came to visit for a few days and has been wanting to get a new dog for awhile (lost her dog in the divorce), and so I took her to our local shelter. Take it as a sign that it is time to move on. 8-) Maybe hang on to the mini as a lawn ornament? You'll have more time once you're off the mountain, right? At any rate, jingles all goes well for both of you and that winter treats you more kindly in January/February.

So far, I've had a knee, hip and shoulder injected and, maybe my orthopod was really, really good, but none of them were all that painful. I take that back, the knee one was unpleasant because he accidentally hit bone with the needle, but not THAT bad, As I recall, shoulder one was easy peasey.

Rudy is ultra-short backed, and I can't add anything to the discussion except to whole heartedly agree with exvet and Rye. When I have trouble getting that bend, it's usually my inside hip that's blocking him, though. But that's why I like the ly away thing.
