Wow Moutaineer, that sounds like an expensive and scary day! Glad Laddie is OK and in such great hands. Aleuronx, sounds like you have a busy summer coming up! Re: The Heat is ON: July/August Goals and Progress
I thought about that, but I'm concerned that there won't be space in winter. BO is letting me cut in line on her waiting list and it will still be two months to get him in. It will be a good thing for him though, because I'll be able to stay more on top of his hoof care and blanketing and whatnot. I...

Re: The Heat is ON: July/August Goals and Progress
Tesla seems to be better. Yesterday I mostly tack walked her and added on a bit of trot at the end. She was good to the left but a touch off circling right. Today I hopped on and she seemed totally fine both directions, so we had a good ride W/T/C. Working on maintaining bend, keeping her with me an...

Susan, I'm having good luck with these Shires masks. Annabelle wears a cob and it stays on if I cross the Velcro strap (she started taking off the Cashel masks). She might have been using a Fairfax. That's the only drop type I have seen with adjustments on both sides. You might be able to get just the noseband, but it will need a monocrown. I had one for Rosette and it was really fiddly to put on and adjust.
