If you still have any cherries left, here is another idea from the article Sweet on Sour . "A handful sauteed in a little red wine, balsamic vinegar and broth can dramatically change anything off the summer grill." I think our local cherries are ready. I'll try this with some grilled pork.

Yesterday, a pair of Gambel's Quail showed up under my bird feeder with 8 or 10 tiny babies; it was impossible to get an exact count with all the pinball action going on. They were seriously cute and amusing!

Quelah - that recipe wasn't included in the 2009 UDBB cookbook. Sparkleby did contribute recipes for Black Bean Chicken Stir Fry and Chicken with Shallots & Mustard, among others.

Some people swear by acupressure wrist bands for seasickness, like these. I have not tried them - I have an iron stomach and inner ears, so I can't vouch for their effectiveness.

I bought Tony Lama paddock boots when (I think it was) State Line had them at half off. I like them; they are comfortable and light weight, with decent arch support. You might look around and see if anyone has a deal on them.
