Spin off from Jane Austen. Anyone else love Colette?

My two favorite novels she wrote are The Vagabond, and Cheri and The Last Of Cheri. I love her writing. Her female characters are very independent for their time in history.

I left the radio on NPR when I wasn't in the barn. It played night and day. We had a barn full of birds that were completely unbothered. They would sit on the radio. I would turn it to rock when I was out working. The horses seemed to like it.

Since I don"t smoke, I use my car ash tray for change and an emergency $5.00. I don't have to drive on toll roads, but I have to deal with parking fees sometimes.

Well, I got the laundry room coat and shoe closet done this morning. I have a 39 gallon trash bag filled with coats and shoes for charity. I also organized my riding lesson half chaps, gloves, and helmet in a tote bag. I cleaned the closet floor as well. Now I get a tea break, and some time to swoon...

Bascar is funny. Poor Norwegian sailors. LOL. I agree with Gold Bond and Zims. As a nurse I have washed my hands to death , and those both work great. Watkins Products ( the vanilla extract people ) make a lemon scented cream that works great and smells fantastic. It's just like lemon pie.

I gave the cook book to one of my nieces, who is named after my Great Grandmother, and she liked it very much. I know it was an early gift, but I felt so relieved that she was happy with it. :)

I am so sorry. We had to put my 13 year old Collie Lexa down 2 years ago. Yesterday at work i saw a Norman Rockwell calendar with a Collie that looked just like her. I started to cry in the copy room. It is very hard to get over such a loss. Our pets are such a part of us heart and soul. Hugs to you.

My BFF'S Dad died of Parkinsons and also had very vivid halicinations. He saw lots of cats in his room. He also thought he was involved in espionage. He was always a huge 007 fan.
