Re: General photography related stuff thread

Suzon, it was a workshop organised by Lusitano World with Russian photographer Katya Druz. They're running another one in April I think, the info is on their Facebook page. We had some magical moments.

Re: General photography related stuff thread

I finally got round to editing my photos from a trip to Golega in Portugal last year. Thought you might like to see them as I had some amazing opportunities to photograph beautiful Lusitanos from some of the oldest studs in Portugal :) Happy New Year! http://www.helenjgphotography.co.uk/photos/swfpo...

Re: They has the dumb

My favourites are those with the horse silhouetted on the ridge at sunset. On some you have applied a blurred effect which isn't to my personal taste, but m...

Valencia is a fantastic city to visit too. The idea of Seville and the Royal School at Jerez is also good. Portugal is a beautiful place to visit as well.

Re: Paula O - Thank you!

Thank you so much for my gifts :) I'm wearing the socks already, the colours are perfect and they're lovely and warm. The Rudolph tissues were an inspired idea, I've woken up with a Christmas cold, so they'll be very useful. I'm looking forward to sampling the Santa and the mats and towel will be so...

Can you get him an experience for something he wouldn't ordinarily do but would enjoy. For example flying birds of prey, a driving experience or something.

Paula O - Thank you!

I finally managed to collect my package from you this morning :) I've only opened the beautiful card so far, I'm trying to save the rest of the contents for Christmas eve :) I can't wait to see what else is inside :)

Thank you :)

Re: Tell us about YOU.

I still have the same name. Still horseless as life is just too hectic. Automotive engineer and team manager by day, wildlife photographer at weekends. I love gardening too. Riding wise I'm starting to ride properly (albeit once a week) making a slow comeback after 18 months at a much reduced level ...

For Photoshop hints and tips check out Glyn Dewis, he's the guy who unlocked Photoshop for me, he's got lots of tutorials on YouTube and a book too. For plugins the Nik collection is brilliant, I love silver efex pro.
