Moutaineer-nice to see pics of you! Mikey's hock is better, I think he banged it on something while rolling. He kept reopening it last week but by Friday, the swelling and heat were gone so we rode a shortened lesson in a poles clinic to occupy his brain and exercise a little. He felt like a coiled ...

Re: The crying Girl Scouts

I agree with Josette, what were those parents thinking?? As a parent, I've seen lots of parents be too involved with their kids and push too hard. I'm wondering if these girls wanted to be there, or wanted their horse badge. Was this the parents idea or the girls? Maybe the girls are spoiled rotten,...

Mikey is looking great under saddle!! The stripe slipping off his nose is adorable. I hear you on the saddle fitting. My dressage saddle works great (adjustable tree and wide panels), but the jumping saddle is a non-starter. Have you heard anything about Harrison Saddle Fit? She's out of Taneytown....

Get through the May yee-haws safely. Get his neck out a bit longer and throatlatch open a bit more while not allowing him to fall down on his forehand. Figure out the head tossing thing-it's minor, wondering if it's the bit or the saddle. His saddle is coming in a few weeks, finally. It may also par...

Actual training pic. We are both progressing but wow, a young horse... now working on keeping his neck out and throatlatch open but not letting him drop down on the forehand. Maia's 6th birthday is coming up in a few weeks. 2014. lightly used. I bought unseen and could not return. It's too wide for my horse and I don't care for the thigh blocks.

16" flaps, S2 canted blocks. Black with silver welting. Very nice condition. Asking $3200.

Living with horses and/or in the country means rodents. Our worst problem with mice is that they get into our vehicles. DH had a Miata mouse magnet.
