I went through the BHS system and pony club.
You really need to find someone else.
I have seem a host of ineffective instructors, some dangerous.
Trust your instinct.
Why not instruct your daughter yourself?
Sorry if this has been answered, I didn’t read the whole thread.

I think I spent a few months watching Forensic Files. Anecdotally a lot of men who are married or in relationships are largely the perpetrators. Next single men. Chilling and yet lots of fun science. Watched The Crown a bit, but don't like the new actress playing ER2 and HBC just doesn't fit for Mar...

It’s just a sad outcome for the victim. Perhaps others will come forward.

Hi all...I've moved Albert to a smaller facility right next door to my old one. The great thing is the price, the run, the turnout, and the access to the arena at my old place for $150 less per month - oh and better hay!!! Pinch me. Downside, they don't use much hot water to soak. I like to soak the...

Albert sheered off a belly strap on a turnout sheet so I don’t know what to do. The piece is gone and it’s a weatherbeeta that lasted 3 season in shreds. That’s a long time for him. Usually I can sew them up, get camping nylon and fix shredded lining (his Schneiders is almost dead, he somehow popped...

Albert has a big hay bin that he flips around, it's not rubber, but a hardened rubber plastic. I hope this isn't part of it. I'll update after I have a conversation with a vet I know who works at the school.

Two places I believe boarded bought the gargantuan bags of chipped rubber. They loved it. Back in 2002 Albert got a piece of bone in his hock, probably from a muddy field that was too deep, the vet called it a”joint mouse”. Had it removed, sound as a bell. Re: My only hiccup with horses
Horses are prey animals so herds are vital, it’s instinctual. Cat’s are solitary in their wild state, at least the ones domesticated cats come from. Domestication can’t erase that, but there are a lot of cats that don’t follow the mold. Dogs are pack animals. They thrive on the social companionship ...

This horse has had choke since she arrived last year. They seemed to manage it by keeping her out. She would wander the property and it's been managed loosely by letting her walk about and eat grass, or just be out. Even during winter in the snow. I guess since the property is unfenced (though she h...
