Ok. There is one thing that I would dearly love replaced sooner rather than later and that's my Dublin boots. Size 7.5. They got saturated with smoky water and presumably asbestos and I wear them almost every day

I would be touched beyond belief if the ddbb replaces those

Thank you all so much. I am fortunate to be living in the guest cabin on the property so am not homeless. The rest of it is just stuff, no pets or people were hurt. And yes the huge bright spot is that the sodding oven will need to be replaced. Hurrah! Ultimately this is the culmination of the past ...

Vet compounding pharmacies can make most meds in a liquid which is easier to give. Get the med in a high enough strength so that the dose is a tiny amount ie 1/4 ml. However the BEST alternatives are transdermal gels! Not all meds are effective in this format, but if the one you need is GO FOR IT. ...

Trying to empty the fridge before heading out to California, so last night was oven roasted potato wedges dusted with aged gouda shavings, dipped in yoghurt/dill/cucumber/garlic while I watched Midsomer Murders. Tonight looks like 2 slices of bacon, 3/4 cup of cream and some pink grapefruit....
