Re: 2020 training hopes and dreams

I bought a new horse in late August. I was super excited about owning a horse again after leasing for over two years and having one with hit-or-miss soundness issues for 14 months prior to that. New horse is young; only 10, with lots of show miles (Arabian Hunter pleasure) as a young horse and lots ...

How about cutting it before cooking rather than after? That way it just looks like smaller pieces (from smaller chickens?) instead of looking like has been cut for portion control.

Heck, at least you stop at stop signs  DH is the King of Rolling (no)Stops. Does anyone else drive like this?

Maybe I get away with it because I mostly drive rural roads without much traffic. But, I've recently noticed that I am in the habit of, when coming to an intersection with a stop sign, stopping the car when my shoulder is even with the stop sign. Not the front bumper of the car, my shoulder. A "...

In a perfect world, I would ride/work my horse six days a week. That is what I used to do eons ago before kids and marriage. Realistically, I typically fall somewhere between 3-5 days a week. This winter, though, has been pretty much a bust. I got sick the week of Thanksgiving and it took about five...

Most of my horse related injuries DH figured out quite quickly ("WHY are you limping?!?"). I have had a few minor spills in the nearly 28 years we've been together that I didn't tell him about since there were no obvious signs of having had an 'incident' with the horse. My biggest crash, h...
