Fwiw, if your dr approves of it, elderberry has proven excellent at virus protection in my household. Elderberry syrup in a cup of hot water before bedtime has kept me cold and flu free for quite a few years.

I am very afraid of some people who are suffering from mental illness, not afraid of guns at all. Our state mental hospital was closed and the patients now live in group homes or on the street. My latest pet peeve is with my slow cooker--after an hour every setting just gets to and stays at a rolling boil--and I prefer much more sensitive settings if possible.

Chicken breasts sautéed in butter than poached in a bit of broth with broccoli. Served with lots of freshly grated parmesan.
Leftovers mixed with farfalle for lunch tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I cooked some parsnips in oil til they were browned and soft, removed them and then cooked medallions with just salt and pepper.
The parsnips added just a touch of sweetness and it was really good, i'll do that again for sure.

I like wool lined with polar fleece myself, athletic styles will offer wind resistance, waterproofing, micro this and that.

This is where my thoughts run to as well. I assume most Syrian refugees would prefer to return home, but how does the world keep them safe from the terrorists? Also is it possible that the cost of returning them and keeping them safe while they rebuild will be similar to what each country will spend...

If you think it is viral I highly recommend Elderberry tincture or syrup. I make a tea and drink it a few times a week during cold and flu season.

I gained over 50 lbs within a year after chemo and radiation. Was sick as hell too, but that's resolving now.
