Oh yes, that’s true. The newer ones do (I should have known that, I just wore my newer pair on Sunday and used the zip pocket!). The older versions did not have a pocket.

Oh ya, Mountaineer, your list reminds me of the barn-trolls who don't clean up the manure from the indoor arena. It seems that at the barns I've boarded at, this is all too common (and, in my opinion, pathetic).

Knee patch or full seat breeches that slip so that the padded part is no longer protecting the inside of the knee during regular wear/riding.

In the winter, I live in Kerritt's winter riding tights (except when I'm at work). They do fine in our REALLY cold temps (down to -30C sometimes) and they fit me well. I prefer the knee patch to the full seat.

Thanks everyone. It's definitely true how amazing walk work is for more than just rehabbing tendons & ligaments. When I think about it that way, I eagerly anticipate it! It's a nice way to cast a more positive spin on an otherwise shitty situation.

I do the latter. I like to take what I’ve learned and expand on it when I’m riding on my own. It helps me solidify what I’ve been taught and practice applying it in different situations. Then when I have my next lesson, I can show my trainer what I’ve been working on and get help honing it further.
