One benefit of Canadian winters are the cold, so hopefully, he will burn some of that fat over the winter. Plus, we make our own hay as we have cattle as well, so my husband saves the low end grass and slough hay for the horses as they are fed free choice all winter. Not alfalfa/grass mix that the c...

The lessons were $125 for small group lesson, or $100 if you signed up for a month's worth at a time. How long are your lessons? Where I ride, I pay $60 (cdn) for a small group lesson - 3 people max. We catch our own horses, saddle and warm up. Trainer comes out, we ride, cool out, unsaddle and put...

Tuddy - have you considered grazing muzzle(s)? Friend uses ones on her super-easy keepers, and they can still graze, but it slows them down a LOT. No real update. Barely rode at all in August. Maybe 2 or 3 lessons. My weekend pole classes have either been cancelled, or I had other commitments. Am going to ride tonight though on a lesson horse. We don't know that the Morris accusations aren't more recent. His PR firm has put out a statement alleging that the events occurred '68-'72, which has done a great job of framing the story in his favor. But we, the general public, don't know if a) that's true, and b) there aren't additional complai...
