Funnily enough, my appaloosa is the reason we don't do soy around here. He gets colicky and gassy from it--in very small quantities. Watch the horse treats!

Mine is a one-man band who works out of a salon in her home. I still do tip her, usually works out at about 15%.

However, she will always make the effort to fit me in if I'm in urgent need.

I never got round to getting my flu shot this year, what with one thing and another. Unusual for me as I am usually religious about it.

I woke up at 4am on Wednesday thinking "I don't feel so good..."

My 2 cents... I think this horse has very different conformation than we have become used to seeing in the International arena. I have a Panasonic which does a decent job. Bread machine bread does tend to be a bit "fluffy," however.

Skating... I tried to learn in my 20's. I fell over a lot, and lying there splayed on the ice surrounded by people with sharp knives attached to their feet freaked me out. I could see my fingers getting sliced off by some other random beginner.

So I gave that up!

If I'm having bok Choy with something like short ribs, I'll just blanch it in boiling salted water. If having it with something like chicken then I might saute it in some sesame oil and add some fresh ginger.

Yes, we did this last year, and will sign up again this year. I will confess that we got a bit tired of kale and some of the mixed greens were a bit on the tough and aggressive side even for us ("Oh God, not bat wings again!"), but on the whole it was successful.

It's a brightly coloured plastic monstrosity that allows you to fire snowballs at some velocity over a fairly long distance. Looks like one of those giant supersoaker water pistols. More than that I cannot tell you as I have not handled one in person.

I'm so sorry. Losing one's mother is particularly hard.

I was there with my mother, and I'm so glad I was.
