Oh, yeah. Just been through all of that looking for a new office manager. And now I'm sitting here composing an ad for a new designer that I expect will reap me the same results. These are responsible, well paying jobs in a decent environment. We are attempting to hire educated grown-ups. It's just ...

The circle of life.

I leave for England on Saturday. I've been summoned home to my father who is very ill. I'm hoping he will know me, but there's no guarantee. He's been in and out of hospital--more in than out, since his ill-fated first admittance with pneumonia 8 weeks ago. He now has sepsis that they don't seem to ...

I need a little waah, I guess. The weather has been impossible here for the past three weeks, so we've done some lunging and that's been about it. Now I have to make a sad and unplanned trip home to England, so the rest of this month is pretty much shot. He's getting turned out all day every day and...

Could well be ringworm or some other fungal infection. A little Clorox will clear it up quicker than the fancy creams if so. (I caught ringworm from a rescue horse about 2 weeks before my wedding...)

No, not normal. Mine (2000 Dodge 250 diesel) sits for weeks outside covered in snow and not plugged in, and the batteries last as long as I would expect them to. It has many faults, but draining the batteries is not one of them!

I'm glad everyone got home safely. Elk are hell on fences. We have a large herd here that just walk through mine on a regular basis--very annoying.
