I've used the Rug Doctor regularly (every Spring). Best advice I got was to use the hottest water you can get your hands on, regardless what the machine says. Almost boiling.

Besides personal choices, the only brand I think you should consider is and LG. They have a new technology regarding their air compressors that make them silent. Honestly, I can't hear mine run. Period.

Still a weird situation. As a camera for your apartment, Trail Cams (trail cameras) are relatively cheap and easy to install and move around.

I have to add that I have a deep, wonderful bathtub with an old-fashioned type shower head arrangement. Fortunately, the handicap bath chair is adjustable at it's highest point, to the edge of the tub. She's got a tub elsewhere in the house.

No fee with Discover, and I think you can get extra credit for gas purchases. I don't follow that too closely. I use my card for all gas purchases, and assorted monthly debit payments, then when they build up, redeem the cash credits toward monthly payments.

All the grain, food, bird seed, and treats in bulk are in one container, in their individual bags. It has been especially helpful while I've been laid up...
