Re: Equilab -- anyone else using this app?

I was looking at the meters per minute and comparing it with another site that showed a typical range for each gait. According to that we are waaay off but I'm not so sure because I rode with the app on for our play day yesterday and we were trotting and cantering at what I would consider a pretty g...

Re: More Leg! More Leg! - May and June Goals

My goals/continued goals are: 1. Lose 10 lbs. The final goal is 20 lbs but as I mentioned in the last thread I have a tendency to get obsessive to the point of being unhealthy if I'm not careful so I'm giving myself very reasonable goals and to make sure I stay healthy throughout the process. 2. Con...

The good news is that I lost 7 lbs since March 1. The rest of my goals are also on track. I am on the “slow track” to be sure, but at least I’m on a track! Yay, good job! Sometimes slow is better, and as long as it's going down and that's what you're after then that's something to be happy about. I...

If your horse gets there but only after a time then that is a training issue. Your horse has trained you. Do you have access to a trainer? A trainer could fix this in one ride.
