Re: Well, this serves me right...

Sue and Kyra, it must be something in the intermountain western air. Nothing upper respiratory for me, for once, just hurt all over and feel like death warmed over. Those body aches sure do pinpoint all one's injuries over the years... my lower back is screaming louder than everything else. Still, I...

Well, this serves me right...

I never got round to getting my flu shot this year, what with one thing and another. Unusual for me as I am usually religious about it.

I woke up at 4am on Wednesday thinking "I don't feel so good..."

And yes, it's officially influenza.

I don't recommend this at all.

Re: Okay Internet Jockeys - Mount up: Nip Tuck video for Discussion

My 2 cents... I think this horse has very different conformation than we have become used to seeing in the International arena. He's long as a bus behind the saddle so he's not going to look like he's tracking up like Valegro, for instance. It was a relaxed, clean, accurate test. Super nice pirouett...

Skating... I tried to learn in my 20's. I fell over a lot, and lying there splayed on the ice surrounded by people with sharp knives attached to their feet freaked me out. I could see my fingers getting sliced off by some other random beginner.

So I gave that up!

Did it once, forced to as a corporate jamboree. I'd rather poke myself in the eye repeatedly with a sharp stick than ever go again.

But my idea of a vacation is a quiet mountaintop with no other people and a gourmet chef.
