After initial omep treatment I have then all on omega horseshine, and one of the smartpak GI supplements. I also think Succeed is important, as hind gut ulcers can be just as troublesome as gastric ulcers.

Here in SoCal we get so warm in the winters that working with their winter hair is not an option. I clip in Oct or Nov and blanket. This year since I a not riding they are unclipped and unblanketed. A horse can need Prascend and have few to none of the symptoms. It doesn't hurt to check. Starting a horse a Prascend *before* he becomes overtly symptomatic is not a bad idea.

You might try Surpass. There was some evidence that twice daily Surpass actually reduced the visible bony changes IIRC. I have used it to good effect. We used to do the sauerkraut trick and it always helped. Its messy though and stinky. You might try a mix of the triple antibiotic and ivermectin. Yes, Ivermec out of the tube. I scribe periodically and I do hear most judges giving lower scores for horses BTV, for stretchy circles where the nose goes down and in rather than out, for curled necks and tight backs...so they are out there.
