I ride in the early morning before work, when the temperature is lower, but humidity is often higher. Generally I'll ride all summer.

When I rode after work, we'd often skip rides because it's just too hot. Summers in the DC area -- 100+ with 80%+ humidity -- are just not pleasant.

I bought a 6qt pressure cooker for ~$30 on amazon last year so I'd quit using the 23qt pressure canner for beans (talk about overkill). Presto makes decent basic stovetop pressure cookers and canners.

I'd shop vintage/thrift stores in Switzerland. You need something warm. A warm coat in Texas isn't necessarily going to work for the conditions you'll face in Switzerland.

I'd start by asking friends, neighbors, etc if they have a recommendation for any sort of lawyer, then call that lawyer for a specific recommendation.

My southern at heart cousin's recipe is 1# sharp cheddar grated, 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, hot peppers or canned pimentos (it's spelled both ways). Mix and let sit overnight. It won't look like it works, but don't fiddle until it sits overnight.

Joy's still able to pick up both back feet fairly high, she just can't hold her weight with the more arthritic leg.

My kind farrier uses a short stand with a carpeted sling to cradle the hoof. It's perfect for the 35 year old's arthritic hocks — she has a place to rest her weight when the good leg is up. She's fine on the other side.

Maryland. My barn owner starts feeding hay when the grass starts getting thin, but before the grass dies (preserving roots and ground cover). Amounts are tailored to the herd's appetite.
