You can certainly build the back and shoulder muscles and minimize the look, but wither conformation is wither conformation (unless you are Potters. who would have quite the sharkfin if he still had the top of his withers intact but now has a slope and a crater, like a cross section through a volcan...

If I were going to offer my inexpert opinion, I would say that she's still has some overall body tension which is stopping her from really letting go over her back and hind end and being more elastic and squishy. LSP, sounds like a good plan for Lynx. It really is a puzzle untangling what is affecting what at any one time sometimes. But I do believe that the best thing you can do with a functionally sound horse is appropriate steady work with an eye towards it being physical therapy. On the subject of which....

I've ridden 3 days this week. Today didn't happen... combination of very sick kitty needing emergency vet trip and a client flying in for a meeting. I'm paralyzed with exhaustion this evening. Back on my horse today for the first time in 6 or 7 weeks. It felt like home. I'm completely wiped out from 20 minutes of walking and a couple of circles of trot.

My request to trainer is back to basics and let's not continue band-aiding over my holes.

Negative covid test and feeling much better today!

Well a clean sweep at regionals for our barn in training level--AA Champion and reserve, Open Champion. Very proud of all the riders and baby horses.
