Agree with all those regarding a large walk-in shower. With a seat - so you can shave your legs in comfort. We bought our current house because of it's beautiful walk-in shower with seat. I love it! However, please take into account a few things. The main thing: do you have another bathtub in the ho...

I have a Kenmore high efficiency top loader. I love it. I can load so much stuff into it that it actually cut the amount of laundry I do every week. It can also be really gentle - I wash all my hand washables in it without fear. It does a decent job of cleaning my clothes - I don't rewash any more o...

Canada must be very similar to NZ as we hardly use cash or checks any more as well. If it's been going on for months, then the transaction occurred sometime in the past. Do you still have your old statements? If not you should be able to check online. If your income and spending habits are quasi-regular, you should be able to scan through and find it without too much trouble.

Most of the cruise lines charge gratuities to your bill. It's some amount per person per day. While they don't tell you this, you can simply say you aren't paying them and tip directly to staff (or not at all). The problem I have with this is that the ship staff work very hard, often 2 or 3 jobs on ...
