I believe someone previously mentioned this trainer/seller in Idaho. Here is her link. https://ccsporthorses.com/

You can view some of her previously sold horses to get a view of what she typically trains and sells. I really like that she had some smaller horses.

I've been slowly rehabbing my guy again after his recent NQR issues. We've been taking lots of long walks on our trails and completely avoiding the ring. I've been using the Smartpak Tumeric pellets for my guy for the anti-inflammatory properties. I feel it improved his seasonal allergies. I use a Tumeric supplement myself and feel it helps me as well.

I'm looking into those Equithrive Complete Pellets - thanks for mentioning it.

This is the same question I asked my chiro today and she recommended Adequan for my guy. He is also very reactive to vaccines. When I gave Adequan in the past to my other horse there was never any problem - so I don't anticipate any with this injection.

Have you ever observed prejudice of older riders?

Let me preface that my post is not meant to insult anyone. These are simply some situations that I have encountered in the past. So, I'm curious if any of you older riders or younger riders have opinions on the skills of older riders. For example, when an older rider inquires for a sale horse and id...

I'm really a very boring person and like my quiet routines - no drama or excitement for me. I recently posted that my pony was exhibiting some lameness issue the previous week. Hmmm - that short choppy trot would make me be cautious of foot soreness. why? It sounds like you have some decent radar instincts for what you see and feel. Don't rush into a purchase if you can wait and even save a bit more $ to get a horse that makes you really want it. :)

It sounds like that horse would be an ideal lower level dressage prospect. Many folks here are doing great with the off breed non-dressage horses and movers.
