I literally had a list of 15 things, Riot got everything checked off but the height. He was also not for sale at the time but was available to me for a private purchase.

It feels awesome to be back in action! :) Spring! I have the good update that my walk half passes are no longer on the struggle bus. I have no association with this phrase, to be it's descriptive. The situation it is portraying is negative but reality. This means the rider is mentally and physically not effective. I get it, it's hard. I have seen this play out countless times, and really have to be sure I don't get into the trap ...

This situation has still been running thru my mind, actually more than I'd like. My husband did run into her and her husband and she made a comment to him that she's "been meaning to send me a card, but she doesn't have my address". My husband didn't respond, but thought what a crock of s...

I guess I'm talking about clarity. If there were issues and someone drifted away then you would know why. In your case its mistreatment and totally makes sense. I'm talking about avoiding people on purpose and not giving them a chance or explanation. . In my cases its probably just the way it goes, ...

I have had friends just "disappear" and it was very hurtful. If it was me, I would talk to her. Contrary to what we might think, conversations won't kill us and might actually repair some rapport (no you don' t have to be friends but as a participant in the relationship you can work on mak...

If the riders hands and legs are that unstable, I wager that the core is also unstable. It will always influence the horse negatively in lateral and longitudinal balance I'm ...

Mary Wanless: The emphasis on the rider’s hand and lower leg in most riding texts can again be attributed to the homonculus. Despite the enormity of their skill, the old masters had much greater awareness of what they were doing with their extremities than of how they organised their centre. So they...

Another thought is to be quiet. Once my horse gives a response, I use quietness if seat and aids to signal, as it were, that I appreciate the response. I like what Mary Wanless calls the "signal to noise" ratio.
