Re: Senior progress thread?
When I was a kid and up until my late 20's, before I had any preconceived notions about dressage, I never had a "bad" ride. I had an unaffected attitude about riding. Now, FINALLY, after all these years, I just want to get back to that frame of mind. Ditto, although even when I was cluele...

Rye, by 'someone's writing' I was referring to Clayton not you.
Dresseur, I know I should be ashamed to admit this, but I don't even know the muscle groups by name. Therefore, I don't know which one's I engage or don't engage. I know I do not sit as straight as you do Dressuer.

I couldn't make heads or tails of that <snipped> This happens frequently when discussions are about someone's writing on how to sit and what to feel. Demi, this is just so strange about Emma and the canter. I would think that if a horse was that painful at the canter, it would resist even trying to canter. Also, I find it odd that she looked so good at the trot, and then showed discomfort at the canter. All this with nobody on her back. All I can...

Interesting, both the variety and the sameness of what we feed. For certain, the E-coli comes from the backend and finds its' way up the urethra. I don't have any leakage, but from what I've read, it takes very little for this bacteria to get there. A splash of water in the toilet bowl can be enough. After my 3rd or so recurrence, I thought perhaps my riding was...

It's only natural that people would like everyone to like their riding, but that is never going to happen. This is especially true in dressage. In jumping, most people agree on what is a good round and good jumping form. In dressage, as you all know, opinions vary a lot. You (g) need to be concerned...

Interesting about your horse's cyst. What do they think the IRAP is actually doing for it?
