I use a portion of their daily feed allowance. I have hemp pellets (similar to flaxseed) which are treat-size. Or plain whole oats, though they are a bit small and generally a bit more of a pain.

Also! I booked my flights to Europe! My first holiday in forevvvvvvvvver - no horse-related events or training courses!

I'm quite excited, except by the ever-increasing costs, haha! International flights, domestic/local flights and trains, it just keeps going! But so worth it.

I've been eating a lot (a lot) of zucchini, as that's coming out of the garden prolifically (a lot). Also tomatoes, although not so prolific, but delicious. Lots of ratatouille, "zoodles" with meat (and maybe pasta and most likely tomatoes).

I don't blanket. We are approximately similar climate to Seattle. We don't get snow where my horses live; about 30 miles south regularly has snow on the mountain, and approximately 100-130 miles south has mountains with skifields. We do get frosts, we are below 0 degrees C (freezing) perhaps 20 days...
