I may be retiring by 62 and I too worry about healthcare. It could be a huge burden on my retirement income/savings and with 2 horses my monthly costs are pretty high as it is. Since I'm part owner of a business, we would sell the business and I would be without a job, whether it's full or part-time...

I groom both of my horses in their stall. Everyone else grooms in the aisle/cross ties. Thanks for the heads up ! I have an older (almost 30 ) year old and he gets his checked yearly. Sedating is always a worry with the old ones. I try to use a dentist that doesn't sedate, which are harder to come by.

Not to threadjack - but, since your calming supplements are helping - what are you using? My mare has been on 1 months stall rest and is a handful for me when hand walking.

2 weeks ago, I put her on the Smartpak Ultra Calm and 2 scoops of Mare Magic - so far No Change....

I will definitely be asking for alternatives to the vets original rehab instructions. Glad you found a pair that you like and that fit well!

I always have to have zippers or a field boot as I have a high instep and getting in tall boots without zips is impossible.

I wish my Maestros were your size, I'd sell them for a good price. Mine are an 8.
