Thanks guys. I went with horse size and can return it it doesn't fit. I thought the leather was decent compared to things I've read. This is the competition model. I'm going to try it on today. Interesting that it comes with two different lengths on the straps that connect the bit.

Yes, I could write a novel about this. Provide support but OPEN THE ELBOWS FORWARD while keeping them anchored. It's sort of it's own problem but also a symptom of the whole horse. Just don't baby the contact in an effort to get the horse "light"- they just keep floating farther behind. R...

Having audited a MW clinic I think it is hard to convey some of her feelages into the written word. When she aligns people on a horse there can be miraculous results. That said, I find some of her book stuff tedious and some of it can overly stiffen you if overdo it.

Tone to me is strength, not grip. For me it also is aligning my thigh to lay across the flap in the proper orientation. As I said above, it helps me maintain a supportive seat that doesn't flop down so hard in the saddle and allows my horse to raise his back up under. "Raise the jeans zipper/w...

If it was a deer tick, I wouldn't hestitate to get on antibiotics, esp given your past history. If it was some other tick I'd wait it out.
I got bit by a deer tick (ID'ed it from pics online) and my doctor prescribed just a day or two of tetracycline as a preventative. I had no rash.
