I would be think that the velcro would attract dirt and hair and then your reins would be even harder to hold onto. Don't know? I find that the stops or rubber reins work well for me. I have had a couple...and probably am in need of another one. Having to use crutches for about 8 week really did a number on my arthritic right shoulder. The PA put local into the mix and it really didn't hurt. Maybe some pressure and residual slight aching for a day. Otherwise a non-event.

I haven't been posting much. I currently do not have many goals except to get my riding fitness back. I definitely feel better on the horse but my core is so crappy.
