Re: Besides WB - what do you ride
Yes, Kathy J. you most DEFINITELY win! Lol! 8-) ...and this will come as no surprise, I ride a fun and fabulous American Saddlebred who quickly caught-on to his second career in dressage and is confirmed to 4th. I'm having fun playing catch-up! and learning this dressage stuff too. Love him to bits....

Re: VHS--Looking for that Diamond in the Rough
Sweet, fun looking horse, just green. Seller is nice and honest. He is not stocky, now, but ASBs are slow to fill and with age and dressage work, he WILL bulk-up (said the owner of an X-wide saddlebred). https://youtu.be/b7GMw1rrswk His blurb.... "Coming four year old ASB gelding $5,500 — Crest...

Re: Are you going to vote for Hillary? Why or why not?
I'm voting for Hillary. Though I do really like Bernie and would be fine with him. I just think HRC has a bit more practical experience politically, and is experienced and tough on the world stage. ...and I will add that of all the Republicans, Kasich would be my choice also....he just has no chance...

Re: DWNSA: Dressage Wimps Not So Anonymous
CB06, I don't know about you, but I would never select a trainer based on asking people (I don't know) on the web. Yep, me neither. I hitched a ride with a barn friend who really likes 'BNT', and had access to lower cost lessons with BNT (normally they are not cheap)...so it seemed like a good oppo...

Re: DWNSA: Dressage Wimps Not So Anonymous
Been there, done that, bought that book. After taking a few opportunities in the last year to ride with a few different trainers (in an area of the country with a LOT of very good dressage trainers/instructors), I found 3 that were all very good, aka. on a different level.... They are all actively r...

Re: In honor of Halloween, a thread for all things spooky
True story. Mine. I am not a ghost, paranormal, etc person. I don't do haunted houses or scary movies and think those paranormal shows are a bunch of bull. Ghosty stuff is not at the front (or back) of my mind...ever. Visiting a friend in Nebraska, staying in her recently purchased 1920's era tudor....

Re: Swiss ban
If Rollkur has taught us one thing, it is that you can put a horse in a very deep very hyperflexed position without draw reins. This^ I do not understand a lot of this 'misdirection' that goes on with the whole Rollkur furor. Rollkur = Planting your feet in the dashboard and hauling a horses head t...
