If it helps anyone, i have learned to not ask for bigger gaits until the horse is soft light and balanced, if bigger gaits causes leaning, i do fewer steps before asking for softness again. Enough forward to keep the hind end going, slow on a longer rein to develop soft backs and carriage, then forw...

I saw a photo of a highway overpass system before and after the flooding. Amazing how much water and how high it was relative to the overpass bridge. It almost like a slow tsunami if you know what i mean

I heard a lot more rain is expected over the already flooded areas. Things are bad for the humans but I also feel for the animals. Not just pets, livestock, wildlife. It's a lot of flood.

FWIW, although I recognized what Rosie meant by "pony trot", I was taught this as "school trot." Agreed, I knew Rosie was not advocating LDR pony trot. But to me some people use the term school trot to encourages elevation in an half steps kind of way. Language... So ambiguous lol

Apparently the little bit of blind intestine was gangrenous. However they removed it by laproscopic means, three small incisions, and I am a bit sore but feeling way better than before

There are a few potential reasons why horses could be E deficient. It breaks down easy do even if it's in green grass, it does not survive the hay in process, this us also true of processed feeds. Some area are more notably deficient than others

We all of us have different viewpoints, from opposite ends of the spectrum, ranging perhaps from Kande (ride for fun no pressure), to MC, riding us not fun and every ride is a test. I find high withered horses often don't try to roll over. They do one side then the other.
I'm not sure it has anything to do with dexterity, more shape of back and neck but I could well be wrong
