Favorite cookie recipe?
I'm in need of a new cookie recipe. I've got tried and true oatmeal raisin/chocolate chip down pat. Looking for a good recipe that is not chocolate (because unlike me, not everyone loves chocolate). Thanks for any suggestions!

Specified human because otherwise my go to would be a nice leather halter for the celebrant to grow out of ;) So need birthday gift ideas for a coming two year old BOY who is mad about cows and horses. My Irish TB mare ( and namesake ) was the only horse I've ever had who didn't tie reliably, but I met my BFF (now of 25 years ) over a broken leather halter :) . Jet lived in a tie stall before I got him, so yeah, he ties. Everyone else has tied reliably to one degree of another. My horses all learn...

Oh, and I'll pass along a tip, that I got from Joe Taylor's book (which I highly recommend for anyone building or having a horse farm, even if they're not racehorses). LOL! It's called a flank cinch. The purpose is that if you are actually being a REAL cowboy and upon occasion throwing a rope and catching a cow, when that 5-1,000 lbs animal hits the end of the rope, it can actually pull the back of the saddle UP, which is problematic for the rider and really not n...

Always shavings, I bed my trailer like a stall, 4-6 inches deep. Dust is not an issue in my trailer (y'all know I have mostly black horses, I'd see it), it won't be in yours, roughly same trailer. I *want* them to pee in the trailer, helps reduce stress. If you're really concerned about dust, dampen...

Agree that many WBs have "curious" navicular radiographs, BUT that doesn't account for the fragment. Does resale matter to you? If it does, I would pass personally. There are places I'd be ok with a chip and have bought horses with chips. Navicular is not one of those places. If you really...
