Re: Virtual shoppers, interested in another one?

I have always been a gelding person, but I rode a mare exclusively for 7 years and was in love. That being said, my current horse is a gelding. The first time I rode the mare I could hardly get her to move. She was in heat and was *severely* offended at having a stranger plopped on her back and bein...

Thanks guys. :)

I was really pleased with my first test today (Second test 1) so I scratched from my second because I knew it wouldn’t be better than that. And I was happy when I got the score, too. 66.97%. :)

Still lots to improve upon of course. But it was a respectable test today.

LOL Flight... ok just for you. I wasn't nervous, but he was a bit tense and high in the neck at times which knocked a lot of the marks down. Question for the gang... for those of you schooling 2nd/3rd or higher, how often do you ride leg yeild and for what purpose? I had a bit of an epiphany about this the other day, and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter before I share mine. :)

On the topic of 20m circles (and circles of other sizes), in my mind it's pretty simple why riding them accurately is so important. demi - I agree with MC. Those first two pics are absolutely lovely. The only thing I would say is your reins look a little long and your hands a little too far back, and consequently you appear to be tilting your left hand down slightly.
