I understand now when Billy's vet said finding Billy peacefully passed away in his run-in was his last gift to me. I didn't make that decision. I couldn't make that decision. You are very brave.

Fresh vegetables are coming in here. I've been busy. I did everything I could with strawberries and yesterday I got new potatoes, green onions,yellow squash, zucchini , lettuce and cucumbers. Today I made pickles and tonight we will have squash casserole with a salad and homemade ranch dressing.

I'm up to my ears in farm strawberries. So I made a fresh strawberry pie. Crust too. Strawberry lemonade and tomorrow I am making strawberry preserves and after that a strawberry cake. Oh, for dinner we made baked sweet potatoes with spinach and avocado on top.

Well, it's a beautiful space and I love the wallpaper, but I thought wallpaper went out of style. Watching too many House Hunters who want to rip everything out of a house I guess. Anyway, I have wallpaper in my house in the bedrooms and I love it, I guess I'm admitting I'm old-fashioned.

It was quite a cool day so I made spaghetti and meat sauce. I also made an Italian loaf of bread to go with it. A little salad with homemade dressing and jello for dessert.

So I've been looking for a fancy water to drink for awhile as you can see by my post and "Hint" is definitely not it, but I did find a brand called "Bubly" while I was grocery shopping this morning and not only is it a fraction of the cost of Hint, but it tastes good too!

So the water came yesterday and I think it should be named Miniscule Water. It doesn't taste like regular water and yet it has a weird taste. Tastes nothing like pineapple, cherries or anything else. I'm not sure I'm even going to be able to drink it at all and I know I won't be buying anymore.

It's a rainy day here so I am going to make macaroni and cheese with a nice salad for our dinner. Along with a homemade banana pudding for my husband. I do not like banana pudding.

I've been checking this water out and finally ordered a case of 12. That's the only way they came. I really hope this flavored water is good because it would be nice to have something that tastes good and with no calories. :)

Tonight was a different kind of dinner for us. I made omelets with different vegetables in them and a homemade muffin. I also made a carrot cake today so we will have that later. I think it was just the kind of weather we're having for the reason to have omelets. Dark, dreary, snowy & icy.

Tonight will be Chicken Piccata with wild rice and a fruit salad. I made the dough for doughnuts yesterday and put it in the refrigerator overnight. I will be making doughnuts this morning along with a chocolate glaze for them. My husband loves doughnuts.

There was a young man who worked at Jim Graham's barn and he wanted more than anything to ride and compete. Jim would teach him if only he had a horse. I let him ride and take lessons on my Billy. He even competed in some local shows on Billy and I was his groom.
